Overview:
Child Coaching helps elementary-aged children understand their emotions, behaviors, and brain responses in a gentle, engaging, and developmentally appropriate way. This is a non-academic, non-therapeutic coaching program that uses simple neuroscience, mindfulness, and expressive art to help children feel safe, confident, and emotionally grounded.
Children learn how their brain works, why big feelings happen, and how to calm their bodies when things feel overwhelming—all through playful, creative, hands-on strategies.
Your child will learn how to:
Understand the “feeling brain” vs. the “thinking brain”
Recognize big emotions before they explode
Use calming tools to regulate their body and mind
Express their feelings through art
Build confidence and self-awareness
Develop healthy communication skills at home and school
Pause, breathe, and choose better responses
How Art Supports Emotional Growth
Creative activities help children:
Explore emotions safely
Release tension
Build focus and patience
Strengthen self-expression
Feel empowered and confident
Art is used as a therapeutic, expressive tool (not clinical art therapy).
